Your Views is an online community comprised of residents across the UK and US willing to share their opinions about a variety of topics. This online community seeks to understand today's UK and US citizens and provide a place for members of the community to interact, share ideas, and give opinions on today's leading brands, products, services and topical issues. We are excited to hear what you have to say!

To be eligible to participate in the Your Views community you will need to complete an initial survey that details your general shopping behavior and some demographic questions to help us classify your answers. Once this survey has been completed you will become eligible to participate.

If you forget your password, go to the "My Profile" on this Website; click on the link next to ‘Forgot your password?" and enter your email address to request a password.

For each study, you will receive an invitation by email to participate. The community research will be conducted on the Web. All you need to do is click on the link, or copy and paste the Website address into your browser window. Then, simply follow the instructions on the screen to complete the survey.  The survey link will also appear on the community website usually in "My Activities" page.

Not necessarily. We will do our best to identify studies that look like a match based on your profile, but our sponsoring clients may include criteria which is not part of our membership information. In these cases, the only way to know if you qualify will be to ask you up front in the survey. In cases when your household does not fit the criteria, we will try and notify you quickly and release you from completing any more of that survey.

On average, you will be sent a survey invitation about one to four times per month. There will also be new QuickPolls posted to the site every week or two, as well as occasional new discussion forums for you to participate in.
You are welcome to take part in as many surveys and discussion forums as you like.

On average, our surveys are approximately 10-15 minutes; however, some can be as short as 5 minutes and others can be longer than 15 minutes. All surveys and activities are completely voluntary and we let you know the approximate length of the survey in the invitation so you can plan accordingly. As well, surveys can be stopped and restarted later from where you left off if you are in a hurry.

Yes, community members can opt-out by logging into My Account and clicking on the link at the bottom of the page to cancel their membership. Alternatively, members can submit a request via the Contact Us form or send an email to yourviews-support@toluna.com with the word "Unsubscribe" in the subject line.

As a member of the Your Views community, you may receive different types of compensation depending on the type of research you participate in. For all surveys and activities, you will be awarded points that can be redeemed for gifts online after you have accumulated a minimum number of points.

Some of our activities allow you to earn a specified number of points.  To redeem your points, simply select the "Redeem" button found on the "My Rewards" page. You can also view your accumulated points online on the same page.  Click here to view the full Terms & Conditions.

Toluna takes the security of your personal data very seriously and abides by the UK Market Research Society Code of Conduct and the UK Data Protection Act 1998. This means that your data will be secure and will never be passed on to third parties without your permission. For more information, please see our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. We collect some personal data about each member for a number of reasons:

  • It enables us to contact you about research (i.e. surveys, discussion forums and/ or poll questions) you can take part in and to also let you know if you've won a prize for your participation
  • It enables us to contact you with surveys that are specifically relevant to you and your lifestyle.
  • It helps us to analyze the survey data by different categories such as gender, age or the region consumers live in.

Don't worry – it will not be possible for any individual respondent to be identified from the results. Your information will only be used for research purposes.
